Interesting tactic for noise abatement: a “silent disco” will be tried at this year’s Glastonbury Festival. In response to complaints from neighbors, festival attendees will listen to late night music on wireless headphones (each with individual volume controls).

For some reason, I don’t think this idea will work at my usual summer music festival. But it’s a cool idea.
