long meeting poetry

During a particularly long political meeting last night, the following poem sprang forth. Enjoy! “Dysfunctional Meeting, 9:25 PM” A motion is introduced. People discuss. Logic turns to non-logic turns Back to logic. Circular reasoning (see “reasoning, circular”) Friendly amendment Accepted. Hostile debate… Tap, tap, BANG! Gavel calms the throng. Then another amendment, A challenge motion!

the frist filibuster continues

As mentioned here last week, the Frist Filibuster @ Princeton University continues. As I write this, they’re completing their 239th consecutive hour of filibustering, and they plan to continue. They also accept volunteers to help, either monitarily or by getting up to talk for a spell. Perhaps a weekend crazy trip is in order –

I read with some intrigue – and trepidation – about the impending return of The Muppet Show. Now that Disney once again has control over the Henson Enterprises empire, they are set to launch a new iteration of the free-form puppet comedy that many in my generation recall as the show to watch. That said,

what about speeder bikes?
