the real enemy of the usa: karl rove
Karl Rove is the embodiment of all that is wrong with theocons and the right wing of the Republican Party. He is truly evil, and wishes to destroy all that is good and just about the United States by spreading lies and distortions that create unnecessary fear and cruel societal manipulations.
It is Rove who continuues to push the myth that the Democrats caused the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. He is the one who most helps perpetuate the mythical connection between Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda. He is the one who helped destroy fair and just Democrats and moderate Republicans, like John McCain. He feels no sorrow for lying to the American people and helping destroy the Bill of Rights, civil liberty, equal justice under law and privacy.
The New York Times ran a chilling account of Rove in today’s edition - worth a read followed by action (especially getting involved to remove the theocons from power - it can happen).

jami: online petitions just aren’t my thing. Seldom has an online petition drive led to any measurable change. I speak with actions: calling and writing congress, working campaigns for congress in 2006, and getting myself in good shape for the 2008 election.
We can’t fold up our tents in the off years.
