why the smurfs?

UNICEF has thought of a new way of trying to drum up financial aid for former child soldiers: commissioning a film showing the Smurfs getting bombed, with some getting killed. shoulder update: i can ride again!

Yay! Huzzah! Yes! My ortho says that I can start riding my bike again – in limited doses. I’m to start with my mountain bike, which has a slightly higher riding position than my LeMond road bike. After a couple weeks of that, I can get back on my roadie – which is good, because

I’ve also spoken with sprite’s parents about the speech, and they provided some good pointers. So

sam’s wedding: things to do

Lots left to do: Pick up tuxedo. Finishing touches on present. Drive to New England. Finish speech. No rest for the weary…

mediocrity comments on mediocrity that begat mediocrity

Is it a bad sign for Bush when one of his most supportive op-ed columnists, Charles Krauthammer of The Washington Post, calls for him to withdraw Harriet Miers’ nomination to the Supreme Court? Krauthammer has alway been a tool of BushCo, truly believing that Bush is a leader non compare. Yet it’s most telling that
