please, joe – don’t run

Don’t run as an independent.

Accept the results of your party’s primary.

If you run as an independent, it’s all about you – it’s not about the will of the Connecticut voters or the best thing for Connecticut.

If you run as an independent, you show that your party means nothing to you.

If you run as an independent, I’ll have no more respect for you. Regardless of your voting history – both good and bad – you are finished for me.

To my Connecticut friends: vote Ned Lamont in November.

workout log: 8 august 2006

Duration: 1:58
Weather: warm and sunny, 85 degrees
Avg HR: n/a
Type: aerobic

PPTC “Downtown Breakaway” ride. Better turnout this week, and for good reason: it was perfect cycling weather. I didn’t wear my HRM today, so no pulse data. But that’s fine, as I can essentially tell where I am with regard to maximum HR by now, and the pace today wasn’t too crazy. The climb up the Great Falls access road was particularly fast today, which is to be expected after riding Mountain Mama on Saturday.

blessed are the cheesemakers

Apparently the folks in Monty Python’s Life Of Brian heard Jesus correctly!
