PPTC “Downtown Breakaway” ride. A good crowd this evening - almost 20 showed up. The sun is going down earlier and earlier, so we kept up a good pace tonight: even with the stop-and-go of the back roads leading out of DC, I managed a 19.1 mph average speed for the ride, which is quite fast. Even better, I feel completely refreshed post-ride, which bodes well.

(And for those who are wondering, the new rear tire works quite well.)
