Let’s recap:
Went on PPTC ride today. Heard creaking sound from my rear derailleur and thought nothing of it. 50 miles in, my drive-side dropout breaks. I hobble to a Civil War Century rest stop and get SAGged back to Thurmont, where one of my ride friends (thanks, Kevin!) drives me back to the car. So I’m in the market for an inexpensive steel frame to tide me over until the Pedal Force arrives in late October.
And now I’m at Camden Yards, watching the Red Sox get tooled on by the lowly Orioles. Dice-K sucked big time.
But hanging out with Alec and Sarah is worth it.
