While there is a basis for concern over big debt and government, blindly railing at deficits and regulation is just plain silly, IMO. You will know an awful lot about an awful lot of people. Sometimes that's good; your friends don't have to explain themselves all the time. But sometimes it's bad; you didn't really want to know what that couple was doing in the shower stall. It's what makes dorm life great -- and what's supposed to make you want to leave it after four years. Also, the importance of real mail. You have to send some to get it, but it really can turn your day around when there's a card or letter or package slip in your campus mailbox. London isn't even the best place in England to drink beer. you must head north! where the ale is deep and dark and they serve it to you direct from a wooden cask and that rustic ale smell permiates into your clothes and gets stuck there for a couple of hours. marvellous. but yes. fly to England, land in London. and then head north a bit. i'll meet you at the airport. and then to be honest .. But I can't develop a taste for it - the first swallow is always just too gross for me to continue! I don't know if I really have a drink - I love coffee, I love tea, I love rum, I love vodka!
