a new day

The inauguration brought forth a new day to DC, the country and the world. A bunch of us decided to see what the crowds were like heading down to The Mall. They were sizable, for sure, but unified in positive attitude, which was a marked contrast from the typical protest crowd that tends to assemble

half a million plus

Down at The Mall for the “We Are One” concert. We’re in the overflow area, outside of the security perimeter at the foot of the Washington Monument – no way we were going to brave the mile-plus-long lines. As such, we have good “seats” by a Jumbotron. And we’re just a few of over 500,000
