In one month and one day I will ride the Civil War Century, and there are a few things I need to do before then:
- purchase a new rear tire (the current tire has about 1,300 miles on it)
- purchase spare tubes
- purchase some gel-padded cycling gloves
- replace front brake pads (they have over 2,200 miles on them)
- change out the chain and rear cogs (this’ll probably initiate my new rear wheel)
- give bike a thorough wash and once-over
Lots to do, so I might as well start now!
