sprite and I take off for Connecticut shortly.

It’ll be a long drive (holiday traffic compounded by rain, which tends to send drivers south of the Mason-Dixon line into a form of motorized paralysis), but the reward will be time in New England with friends and family.

The only downside: no skiing, as the weather hasn’t been conducive to opening up more than a handful of runs at the southern Vermont resorts.
