At 10:00 PM, the temperature was 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius). It’s the hottest day that the District of Columbia has seen in many, many years.
Ugh. Not fit for man, beast, or anybody else.

Yeah, it topped out at 102 yesterday, breaking a 71-year-old record. Today will likely be cooler, with a front moving through around sundown, but the past two days have been nasty.
