Yes, this is a bit too thorough, but it should bring consistent results at sea level.

    My most recently discovered suggestion would be to fill your pot with so many eggs, they have no chance to move around. I generally don’t end up with cracked eggs, but this would solve the problem if you did — and you’d end up with a lot of hard-boiled eggs, to boot. 😉
